This leaf garland is a lovely way to bring the feeling of an outdoor english garden into your wedding venue. It can be used to embellish a cake table, decorate a door frame or you can make a lot and hang as an installation above the head table. With only a few simple steps, it’s incredibly easy to do. Thanks so much to our sweet friends Jessica + Garett at Wednesday for putting this incredibly simple + super lovely DIY together!
Supplies:
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Dried eucalyptus: this can be found in the dried section at almost any craft store. It will be bunched in branches
To create the garland:
First, remove the eucalyptus leafs from the branches. Then string your needle with the yarn and one at a time poke a hole in the end of the eucalyptus leafs and string them onto the yarn. So easy!
We wanted to embellish our garland with little flowers at the tucks, so we repeated the steps used to make the fabric flower from this tutorial.
And a pretty garland for your table or however you’d like to personalize it for your day! :)

ooohhhh love this idea! looks so nice
Lovely, really natural looking!
I love the way this looks! What a great way to bring nature indoors.
I know I’m late to the party, but…where on earth do you get those long eucalyptus leaves? I can only ever find short, round leaves but I really love the look of the long and tapered leaves! Any suggestions where I can get those?
