I love music. So many people commented on how much they loved the music at our wedding and that it really sounded like us. We spent A LOT of time picking the perfect song for before the ceremony, the processional, the recessional, the cocktail hour, the first dance, etc….Music was just that important to us.
Since I love music so much and I think there are a lot of great songs out there that would work for weddings, I decided to create the “Friday Music Pick” where I will feature a great song that I think would work for your wedding. Sometimes these will be new songs, sometimes old. But remember that the most important part, is that the song is about the two of you or has a special meaning to you both.
One song that fits this for my husband and I is Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours. This song has great lyrics and a beachy vibe. Enjoy and Happy Friday!
I never gave Jason Mraz too much credit, but I have to admit that I really like this song. It’s perfect for a wedding. My wife and I were just married at the Firestone Crossroads Estate (you actually left a comment on snippent and ink, and that’s how I came to your blog) and our first song was Phantom Planet’s cover of “Our House.”
