Krystin + Evan had just the sweetest wedding. Thanks Krystin + Evan for sharing your day with us. From Krystin: I looked at a lot of wedding blogs, including Green Wedding Shoes, as inspiration. We knew we wanted a small outdoor wedding. We wanted to incorporate vintage + DIY elements with a whimsical feel while being true to our unconventional way of life. We didn’t want the process to be too overwhelming as we were busy moving into a new home and enjoying our sweet baby boy, so we were lucky to have a lot of help from friends, family and our coordinators Emma & Slavita.
3 parts: When Evan got choked up while we were saying our vows. He never cries. 2nd, when Evan's dad got choked up while he made his speech. He never cries either. 3rd, immediately after the ceremony, hand in hand Evan and I made our way to a small area secluded by trees to have a moment to ourselves (we had no idea where we were supposed to go and we both hate being the center of attention so we needed this). We held each other in awe that the day was finally here and we did it! Everything came together, it was more beautiful than we could have imagined, everyone we loved was here for us and we were husband and wife!
Enjoy every moment of your wedding day, even if it doesn't turn out to be just what you imagined. The day goes by so fast and the little imperfections are what add to the charm that makes it you! There is no right or wrong way of doing things. Be untraditional and do what makes you and your fiance happy. Get help from coordinators, family and friends. You would be surprised at how many of your friends want to help.
Evan and I have known each other since kindergarten. We are high school sweethearts and seeing the beauty we created in our son Linus confirmed what we already knew, we were made for each other. We feel so lucky to have had such a perfect wedding filled with so much love. To look around and see everyone we love and who loves us, friendships from different times in our lives, all in one place. It truly is the best feeling. So many of our guests have shared with us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to and I truly believe it's because of the amazing people we have in our lives. We want to thank our wonderful family and friends for all the help, our coordinators Emma & Slavita, and Green Wedding Shoes for providing us with inspiration.
