Stylish Los Angeles Carondelet House Wedding: Emily + Brett

Carondelet House wedding

If your ideal wedding involves lush florals, a timeless vibe, a touch of sparkle and tons of style, you’ll want to take your time making your way through Emily + Brett’s gorgeous Carondelet House celebration. Together with their planner, Stacey Lynn Design, these two designed a day that was filled with the prettiest details and a festive vibe. Emily + her ladies exuded major style in their gorge gowns + flower halos and the romantic, moody feel of E + B’s reception was totally spot-on. But, friends, that’s just the start. Let’s hear a bit more from Emily about their overall ideas for their day:

There was no set inspiration from the start. Brett and I are both very aesthetic-minded and we were always guided by the overall look and feel of our design choices. We wanted things to look upscale, but comfortable and with touches of our personalities infused, like Brett’s cigar bar and the nostalgic board game elements.

Thanks so much to EP Love for the beautiful photos and congrats to Emily + Brett on a gorgeous day!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

The alone time Brett and I had immediately after the ceremony and before the madness of the evening began. It was so meaningful to have a few minutes as husband and wife to soak it all in before joining our family and friends for the party.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Meet in the middle! Brett and I had very different ideas of what a wedding meant – size, wedding party, etc. Wedding planning is a great place to start practicing compromise. And remember, the day is a reflection of you as a couple, so be flexible and let go!
